Improving body image for eating disorders

It is perhaps the most vital piece to your recovery from an eating disorder; that is, the need to improve your body image to a positive one.  If you continue to harbor negative body image, thoughts and feelings, you will find it hard to achieve true recovery and it is easy for you to revert your previous eating disorder behaviour. However, changing your perception of your own body image is not an easy one to accomplish.  This is especially in an environment whereby being thin is seen as being beautiful.  An aneroxic will consider having even having an ounze of fat as totally unacceptable.  Being thin holds the key to having more friends, not being ridiculed and being able to wear the latest fashion. If you find it hard to accomplish changing your body image on your own and suspect that you have an eating disorder, then do get help immediately.
