Are eating disorders in the genes? This is what some researchers say. People with eating disorders are predisposed if they inherited the genes for them. Environment of course, too play a part. Just imagine if you are surrounded by family and loved ones with eating disorders eating habits and preferences. She confesses that she feels empowered when she does not eat. She claims that it is not so much about the weight loss. She also talks about feeling inadequate now that her mother who has always been overweight, becomes thinner than her. Eating Disorders are extremely hard to cure for a variety of reasons, so the easier course of action is to try and prevent them.
